    That looks yum! I can never cook porridge the way my mum makes them. And I use a stove. I didn’t even know rice cookers had a `porridge’ setting!

    S’truth Melissa, my tummy is rumbling looking at those yummy pics thank you! I don’t have a rice cooker – I cook brown rice on the stove, which doesn’t take tooo long. Maybe I could add all those simple ingredients to it, sort of half way through?
    My creative juices are running high, plus other juices …

    I agree!

    Now I disagree on cooking being therapeutic. For me, it’s a horrid, horrid chore. I despise cooking. :) But I do love to eat good, homecooked food. Yup. Yup. Yup I do. Luckily for me, my son doesn’t mind cooking, so I leave that to him.
